Katherine Conner received some donations toward her probation and borrowed the rest. Now she struggles to pay her monthly probation and restitution fees which amounted to 70% of her income PLUS repay her loan. Meanwhile, her district attorney continues his attacks on black people. District Attorney Sam D’Aquilla had Herman Wallace re-indicted for murder a few days after he was released from 41 years of solitary confinement in Angola Prison. Wallace, one of the Angola 3, probably died immediately upon hearing the news in hospice care that he was due back in court in December 2013.

“I say he is a murderer, and he is not innocent,” District Attorney Sam D’Aquilla said. “The conviction was overturned because the federal judge perceived a flaw in the indictment — not his murder conviction.”

D’Aquilla said Wallace's attorney Nicholas J. Trenticosta, of New Orleans, was wrong when he said Tuesday that Wallace is “a free man, and he’s innocent.”

America's return to slavery through the prison system is lucrative for prison investors, but it hampers the super power's ability to speak against crimes against humanity around the world, and this nation's high incarceration rate makes America's military conflicts for the sake of human rights suspect. Moscow recently pointed to this nation's torture and murders of inmates in its response to President Obama:

President's Agenda Should Include Prisons

Pew Charitable Trusts reports that 1 in 9 black children in the United States has a parent in prison or jail. America’s growing prison population has resulted in more children growing up without the love of a parent. Roughly 2.7 million children have a parent behind bars. That equals 1 in every 28 children. Only 25 years ago, it was 1 in 125 children, until the advent of the Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1986 created a 100 to 1 sentencing disparity for crack vs. powder cocaine possession - a racist law that discriminated against minorities but had the blessing of the 1986 Black Congressional Caucus. Many minors are in the justice system themselves. Children Defense Fund reports, "Nationally, 1 in 3 Black and 1 in 6 Latino boys born in 2001 are at risk of imprisonment during their lifetime. While boys are five times as likely to be incarcerated as girls, there also is a significant number of girls in the juvenile justice system. New York Times reports, "Proportionally, the United States has four times as many prisoners as Israel, six times as many as Canada or China, eight times as many as Germany and 13 times as many as Japan.With just a little more than 4 percent of the world’s population, the United States accounts for a quarter of the planet’s prisoners and has more inmates than the leading 35 European countries combined . . . There’s also a national election in the United States soon. This issue isn’t on the agenda . . . Barack Obama, the first black president, rarely mentions this question or how it disproportionately affects minorities. More than 60 percent of the United States’ prisoners are black or Hispanic, though these groups comprise less than 30 percent of the population. Actually, America's high incarceration rate was placed on the presidential agenda by Rep. Ron Paul, who promised to pardon every nonviolent drug offender and end the War on Drugs. That would be a positive Change for millions of individual families, communities, and state budgets. Fulfilling that one campaign promise might have released over half the African Americans presently in prison, which is probably why Rep. Paul is censored like Mary Neal and others who are against mass incarceration. Instead of reducing America's incarceration rate, both presidential candidates from the two major parties agree on implementing indefinite detention in military camps for persons to be incarcerated without criminal charges or trials. Virtually every country that ever had concentration camps used them primarily for minorities. Rep. Paul opposed NDAA's concentration camp provision and introduced H.R.3785 to repeal the law. Now who's prejudice?

RON PAUL: PARDONS FOR DRUG OFFENSES

Where does Ron Paul stand on capital punishment and the prison industrial complex? He is against capital punishment and would release everyone who was imprisoned on nonviolent drug offenses! Paul is also against NDAA, Section 1021 for concentration camps in America. And he is against World War III. Vote for Ron Paul for president 2012! Please note that the video implies that Ron Paul disrespected blacks. That is ridiculous and untrue. Ron Paul wants to restore families and communities by releasing nonviolent drug offenders. He wants to divert America from war. He wants to restore the Constitution. He wants to be our president.

RON PAUL said GOP convention planners had offered him an opportunity to speak at the convention under two conditions: that he deliver remarks vetted by the Romney campaign, and that he give a full-fledged endorsement of Romney. He declined.

"It wouldn’t be my speech," Mr. Paul said. "That would undo everything I’ve done in the last 30 years. I don’t fully endorse him for president." Boycott4Justice Works in Wisconsin!

I did not conceive the idea of the Boycott 4 Justice but credit God for giving me the concept one night.  We distributed approximately 500 flyers to WE ARE ONE protesters at the Atlanta event on the 4th of April when simultaneous events were held across the nation to alert big business and government officials that workers would not take it anymore.  Since the Boycott 4 Justice Shopping Moratorium is God's brainchild and not my own, it is not immodest to think the fear that millions of union and non-union workers across America would join the peaceful, powerful shopping boycott on the 9th of every month will reap victories for working class Americans.  Be reminded that many problems resulting from corporate greed and government misdeeds happen regularly and more are contemplated, such as attacks on social security, expansion of the prison industrial complex through a new War on Drugs law against menthol cigarettes, and contentious laws regarding illegal aliens, to name a few.  

The Boycott 4 Justice will help resolve problems if millions of Americans unite.  Marches, petitions, and rallies expose wrongs and appeal to conscience.  Such initiatives are successful when they are backed by financial consequences such as boycotts during the civil rights era and labor strikes when unions were formed.  The love of money is the root of all evil.  Keep your money on April 9 to command greater respect as consumers and constituents.  It would help if you ANNOUNCE YOUR OWN REASON for participating in the national Boycott 4 Justice No Shopping Days on the 9th of every month, whether you protest school closings, reduced financial aid for college students, the Supreme Court's rejection of Troy Davis' appeal in March, war, millions of jobs outsourced overseas and to prisons to avoid unions, minimum wage and worker safety laws, weakened environmental protection regulations, rising gasoline prices, or whatever injustice you detest.  But announcements are not necessary.  Just do it!  No shopping whatsoever on April 9 or the 9th of any month in 2011.  Join the People's 9/11 response to injustices.  Collective bargaining still works!
