Human rights advocacy is under attack, and so are activists. We are censored, persecuted, and sometimes prosecuted on false criminal charges as punishment for speaking truth to power and standing with the people against tyranny. Arresting advocates like Ethiopia did to Andy Tsege serves two purposes: It rids oppressors of the activists' voices, and it also warns others not to follow the activists' obedience to Proverbs 31:8-9: "Stand against oppression of the poor and needy. Judge righteously. Speak on behalf of everyone who is appointed to destruction."

The wrongful conviction and incarceration of Rev. Edward Pinkney, of Benton Harbor, Michigan is an example of oppression to silence dissent. Pinkney is founder and director of the B.H. BANCO organization, and he hosted the "Pinkney to Pinkney" Blogtalkradio show on Sunday evenings. His principal fight is against what he called the corporate takeover of Michigan, beginning in Benton Harbor. Pinkney accused Michigan's governor and local government officials of being grossly unfair to Michigan residents in giving corporations large tax breaks at the expense of public services to the People. Pinkney also complained about officials giving away and selling public lands, then undermining the electoral process by setting city managers over the areas that had been impoverished by those same tax breaks that benefited wealthy corporations.

Rev. Edward Pinkney may be the first American to be ordered off the Internet by a court of law. That never happened to criminals using the Internet to extort people or to pedophiles who use the Internet to attract helpless children, but it happened to Pinkney. He used the Internet to decry Michigan's marriage of corporations and government, which left the citizenry in the position of used and abused stepchildren. Privatizing the water supply and lead poisoning of Flint's residents are examples of the government's disregard for human rights, which Pinkney opposes. Pinkney was charged with election fraud in connection with a recall petition he sponsored to remove Benton Harbor's mayor. He was tried and convicted without proof of wrongdoing by an all-white jury comprised of people who live in the 90% Caucasian community across the river from Benton Harbor. Pinkney was sentenced to serve up to 10 years in prison for a crime that never happened, but he is no long on radio each Sunday calling Governor Snyder a dictator.

Pinkney's radio broadcasts had an open forum, and he gave voiceless people throughout America an opportunity to speak. His was one of the first radio shows that welcomed this writer, Mary Neal, who exposes the secret arrest (kidnapping) and euthanasia of Larry Neal and The Cochran Firm fraud. My brother Larry was murdered in Memphis Shelby County Jail after 18 days of secret incarceration. Few media companies will air news about the government abduction and murder of the black, mentally ill heart patient even now, 12 years later. Larry's murder is denied open disclosure, an inquest, investigation or explanation, and it remains unrequited. The cover-up around Larry's murder exists because Memphis Shelby County Jail was operating under an Agreement with the USA, and the United States Department of Justice (USDOJ) was in charge of the jail's operations at the time of the disabled American's demise. The USDOJ is complicit in the cover-up.

Whereas this writer was never brought up on false charges, I experience surveillance, financial persecution, and terrorism to discourage my justice quest regarding the secret arrest and wrongful death of Larry Neal and my advocacy for other mentally disabled Americans through an organization I founded and direct -- Assistance to the Incarcerated Mentally Ill ("AIMI"). I also experience censorship of articles, social media posts, and radio broadcasts on "Human Rights Demand" channel at Blogtalkradio. Censorship also happens frequently at a radio channel I host under National Network in Action (NNIA1). Examples are available online in "Justice Gagged" blog at Blogger (a link to the blog is below). Rev. Floyd Harris, Jr. directs NNIA and is assistant minister at New Light for New Life Church of God in Fresno, California. Harris recently faced criminal charges related to his peaceful participation in a "Black Lives Matter" march in Fresno. He went to court on January 6, 2016, and may now be on probation for his "offense."

Unfortunately, there are numerous political activists in U.S. prisons, including some who have been incarcerated ever since the 1960's. Most are people of color, as the USA strives to "maintain the status quo" (elite white supremacy). Numerous political prisoners were members of the Black Panther Party (BPP), including Mumia, who activists assert suffers medical neglect in prison. Political prisoner Leonard Peltier was a member of the American Indian Movement (AIM). Activist attorney Lynne Stewart became a political prisoner while providing legal defense for the Blind Sheikh of Egypt, Abdel-Rahman. Stewart was finally granted a compassionate release from prison, but the Blind Sheikh is serving a life sentence. He called for the ousting of Hosni Mubarak, Egypt's president (Mubarak was reportedly a Western-backed dictator who was later ousted by Egyptians). Abdel-Rahman and nine others were convicted of seditious conspiracy, which requires only that a crime be planned, not that any crime was necessarily attempted (Wikipedia).

More U.S. political prisoners are listed by the Jericho Project (link is below) and discussed during Ralph Poynter's weekly radio shows on Tuesday nights at 9pmEST at "Human Rights Demand" channel on Blogtalkradio -- "Ralph Poynter What's Happening." Political prisoners are often tortured, whether in the USA or other countries. Former BPP member Albert Woodfox is an example. For 43 years, Woodfox has been held in solitary confinement, mostly in the Louisiana State Penitentiary. On June 8, 2015, US District Court Judge James Brady ruled that the Angola 3's Albert Woodfox be both immediately released and barred from a retrial, yet he remains imprisoned today. Prolonged solitary confinement was determined to be torture by the United Nations, of which America is a prominent member.

Dear Mary,

Andy Tsege was abducted 600 days ago this week and taken to an Ethiopian secret prison as punishment for his political activism. Today he will spend his 61st birthday in a cell under sentence of death – the second birthday he has spent locked away from his partner and three children.

Andy is a British citizen, but the British government is refusing to act – despite both the United Nations and the European Parliament calling for his release. But thousands of us have taken action to make sure they can’t continue to quietly stand by while the Ethiopian authorities hold a British citizen in illegal detention under sentence of death.

Today Andy’s partner and three children will deliver our petition to 10 Downing Street - signed by nearly 130,000 of us - calling on Prime Minister David Cameron to intervene to secure Andy’s release.

Andy’s situation is now more desperate that ever – and a demand for his release cannot come a moment too soon. He was moved from a secret location to a notorious prison where torture is commonplace. U.S. Obligations to Americans Come First (Iranian Nuclear Deal)

Recently, 47 U.S. Senators wrote a letter telling Iran that Congress may not honor a nuclear deal broached with President Obama. Vice President Biden condemned the GOP senators' letter in a strongly worded press release, in which he said:

"Around the world, America's influence depends on its ability to honor its commitments. Some of these are made in international agreements approved by Congress. However, as the authors of this letter must know, the vast majority of our international commitments take effect without Congressional approval. ... They are essential tools to the conduct of our foreign policy, and they ensure the continuity that enables the United States to maintain our credibility and global leadership even as Presidents and Congresses come and go."

United States officials have signed contracts with the American people and the United Nations that regard the rights of U.S. citizens. Failing to honor these contracts erodes America's ability to influence other countries, just as the Vice President said, especially in the area of human rights. Refusal to honor the agreements signed in years past negatively impacts the United States' credibility and global leadership and makes suspect any and all future agreements. Blaring failures exist regarding the U.S. Constitution, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Civil Rights of Institutionalized Persons Act (CRIPA), the Civil Rights Act, the Convention Against Torture, and Executive Order 13107, implementing human rights treaties.

The video at YouTube https://youtu.be/mTnBUYoJtk4 proves that prison investors moonlighting as public officials in direct conflict of interest censor Mary Neal's advocacy to replace incarceration with hospitalization. That censorship violates all of the documents named above. Mentally ill Americans, including U.S. veterans, are continually killed during arrest attempts and in jails and prisons because none of the covenants listed above that would protect them are being honored. Ignoring the secret arrest and wrongful death of Larry Neal, my mentally, physically disabled brother, violates all of those and all other laws and conventions intended to protect the rights of Americans who are poor, black, or mentally and physically disabled, such as this man who was held under secret incarceration for 18 days and murdered on August 1, 2003, by yet undisclosed means.

During the nearly 12 years since Larry's secret murder, his sister and other human rights activists became aware and vocal about the urgent need to protect the rights of mentally challenged Americans, who comprise over half of the victims in America's violent incidents that happen under the color of law. We were encouraged when President Obama included mentally challenged Americans in his State of the Union address in 2015, and our optimism increased when the First Lady recently announced her campaign to focus on improving the conditions of people with serious mental illness, but my censorship continues.

Hopefully, justice for Americans with serious psychiatric issues will not begin here and go forward but will also include mentally ill people who are presently warehoused in the nation's prisons and jails for offenses that resulted from the deliberate denial of adequate, timely treatment, especially those who suffer torture in solitary confinement cells. Being fair to mentally ill Americans also means rendering justice for families, like the Neals, who were denied due process of law in U.S. courts in order to cover-up rather than deal fairly after wrongful deaths in custody.

Ask the men pictured below if the USA keeps its contracts with the American people. Only one of them can answer, because the others were killed under the color of law. Terrell Scott, in the upper left corner, has been a Pennsylvania prisoner for over five years although he was denied a trial. In fact, Judge Zito said Scott has over 40 charges, and Scott is not even allowed to know what they are. Being black and mentally ill and poor apparently merits complete disregard for Scott's civil and human rights in the United States. He was simply snatched and arrested without trial, like free blacks who were kidnapped and enslaved in the movie, "12 Years a Slave."

When it comes to Americans whose rights are/were marginalized or ignored because of racism or poverty or mental illness, we must not do what so often happens in America, which is to go from today forward without correcting wrongs retroactively. There will be no opportunity to move forward and "be true to what America said on paper" while tens of thousands of people with mental illness are cruelly incarcerated who should be treated either in mental hospitals or in assisted outpatient treatment (AOT) programs, depending on their ability to live outside of a controlled environment and the seriousness of the offenses that led to their arrests.

There is no opportunity to move forward without rectifying wrongful deaths, like Larry Neal experienced at the hands of Memphis, Tennessee police officers and Shelby County Jail personnel. If the President, our First Lady, and the Vice President really desire to establish "continuity that enables the United States to maintain our credibility and global leadership," then they must begin by honoring commitments made to U.S. citizens through the documents named above and others. America must be "true to what she said on paper" about people within her own borders before Iran or any other nation should take seriously any agreements with the U.S.A.

We will never rest as long as people are brutalized and killed without accountability in the United States because they are a certain race or have a certain economic status or certain health conditions. We must continue to expose and oppose oppression until the human and civil rights of every person are honored and fully protected. Human rights advocates will continue to demand that America finally "be true to what she said on paper" (MLK).

As an Iranian official pointed out, for America to dishonor any commitment President Obama makes with regard to nuclear agreements would violate international law. But so does secretly arresting and murdering Americans with disabilities violate international law. Baking, boiling, and starving mentally ill inmates, and censoring advocates for complaining about these crimes against humanity all violate international law, but these offenses happen regularly to people of all races with justice denied in the USA. What would be new about America ignoring international laws?

Honoring commitments must begin at home. For Iran or any nation to expect America to honor agreements with other countries while ignoring its written obligations to U.S. citizens would be unwise, especially after having received a warning letter from 47 senators.

Obama Administration and Police Brutality

1)  From time to time I read accusations against Attorney General Holder wherein conservative whites call him a racist favoring blacks. I disagree with this assessment because of his successful attempt to keep blacks interned - some for life - for possession of crack cocaine, which only helps prison owners and investors. 

2)  I would like to read inmates' revelations of how they felt when Attorney General Holder appealed the judge's decision that the Fair Sentencing Act would be applied retroactively. Because he won the appeal, thousands of black inmates whose sentences would have been over or nearly over are still interned in prisons throughout the nation at great cost to taxpayers as well as to inmates and their families. This administration defies the United Nations' recommendation for the Fair Sentencing Act to be applied retroactively.

3)  Do you feel that this administration is doing all that it can and should do to curb police violence against African Americans? Considering its stance against releasing prisoners who were sentenced under the racist crack to powder cocaine sentencing law, do you feel this administration is likely to ever take a strong stance against mass incarceration or police violence that disproportionately affect African Americans?

4)  Part of my reluctance to believe this administration will try to curb police violence against African Americans is based on the USDOJ's refusal thus far to release information, records, and things regarding the secret arrest and murder of my mentally, physically disabled brother, Larry Neal, who was a black man. The refusal of accountability for his secret arrest and demise in a publicly owned jail that was already under the jurisdiction of the USDOJ (after a lawsuit by the USA against Memphis Shelby County Jail) indicates that this administration actively works against justice for African Americans, even to the point of breaking the law to protect murderous police and corrections officers. 

5)  Helping police and corrections officers to avoid accountability for crimes against America's most vulnerable people is why Assistance to the Incarcerated Mentally Ill (AIMI) plans an international action against the USA. Larry's murder under secret arrest and other wrongful deaths of mentally ill Americans of all races will go before the International Court in 2015. Such an action should be unnecessary to protect the human and civil rights of our homeless and mentally disabled citizens who are often neglected, brutalized and killed, and interned in large numbers (1.25 million) in "correctional facilities" where prisoner abuse is common and the press is disallowed.

6) Attorney General Holder reminded Americans that the USDOJ's investigation of Ferguson and Michael Brown's death is still ongoing. That would sound promising, except that Attorney General Holder also built hope in the Clemency Project 2014 but failed to authorize defense attorneys to participate. That was said to render the large clemency drive a dud. Considering past evidence, how likely is the DOJ investigation to contradict the findings of the Ferguson grand jury?

7) Doing what benefits private prison corporations and other big businesses seems to be a priority in Washington. Last year, corporate profits reached an all-time high of $1.68 trillion, while the share of profits that trickled down to workers hit its lowest point since the 1950's. Concerned citizens should therefore try to enlist support for justice from Big Business. This writer believes that unless there is a successful Boycott 4 Justice related to Ferguson, no federal charges will be levied against Wilson, and unrequited police violence against African Americans will continue to worsen during this administration.

National Bar Asso Open Records Request - 25 Cities

Look, Lorenzo Kom'boa Ervin and JoNina Abron-Ervin Memphis' records will be examined by the National Bar Association. I suppose they will omit their secret arrest and murder of Larry Neal again. They always do omit his name. The USDOJ allowed Memphis officials to do that repeatedly - even in the jail's release hearings. In 2008, Vice President Dick Chaney and former Attorney General Antonio Gonzales were indicted for deliberately withholding federal investigations into inmates' murders in exchange for prison stock and other good and valuable consideration in Wallacy County, TX. I think it is traditional for subsequent U.S. Attorney Generals to hide the sins of previous administrations.

I will send the Bar Association a certified letter and let them know that Shelby County, TN Gov. has been excused by the USDOJ from giving any accountability for Larry Neal's secret arrest and murder. I will let you know how valid this interest in justice shown by the National Bar Association really is after they respond or fail to respond to my correspondence. It seems to me that the entire USA is in on Larry Neal's murder cover-up. The problem is that so many people have participated in his murder coverup by now (eleven years later), that everyone has a conflict of interest in promoting justice in his case. See the press release below, and be sure to contact the Nat. Bar. Asso. about the 23 deaths by Memphis Police that happened between 2012 and 2013. If not, Memphis is sure to hide some. You know how they are in Bluff City.

NATIONAL BAR ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCES OPEN RECORDS REQUESTS TO 25 CITIES THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES

Washington, DC — Pamela J. Meanes, President of the National Bar Association, announces the top 25 cities that the organization will send open records requests in an effort to end nationwide police misconduct and brutality cases that result in the deaths of unarmed individuals.

On September 1, 2014, the National Bar Association will begin filing open records requests in 25 cities that have been identified as having an alleged history of police misconduct and brutality cases. The open records requests will seek information regarding the number of individuals who have been killed, racially profiled, wrongfully arrested and/or injured while pursued or in police custody.

The cities that have been identified include: Birmingham, AL, Little Rock, AR, Phoenix, AZ; Los Angeles, CA; San Jose, CA; Washington, DC; Jacksonville, FL; Miami, FL; Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; Louisville, KY; Baltimore, MD; Detroit, MI; Kanas City, MO; St. Louis, MO; Charlotte, NC; Las Vegas, NV; New York City, NY; Cleveland, OH; Memphis, TN; Philadelphia, PA; Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; San Antonio, TX and Milwaukee, WI.

In addition, the National Bar Association will send a “Preservation of Evidence” notice to all necessary entities requesting that they preserve all police officers' raw notes of statements, observations and data collected from the scene of an incident. This request will also require information on the officer specifically involved and all responding officers, as well as the officers’ detail logs from the crime scene, and video and photographic evidence related to any alleged and/or proven misconduct by current or former employees.

The National Bar Association will release its findings to the public and will submit copies to the Department of Justice. More importantly, the organization will demand the Department of Justice launch a full investigation and request a federal oversight of the cities that have been identified with problems.

The organization will also begin to host various seminars for the public next month entitled, “Know Your Rights, Because It Could Save Your Life”. These seminars are aimed to educate the public on their rights when encountering police.

Save Police Violence Victims from Cochran Firm Fraud

The public is righteously outraged about twelve police killings that happened within a month's time during summer 2014. We follow news reports about unarmed people being killed and watch anxiously to see if any semblance of justice will be afforded to their survivors. It is important to recognize that the process of seeking justice will continue long after the initial shock and tear gas have faded. Wrongful death lawsuits are likely to be filed in the cases listed below, and the final judgments may happen years from now. Paragraph 1 repeated: The public is righteously outraged about twelve police killings that happened within a month's time during summer 2014. We follow news reports about unarmed people being killed and watch anxiously to see if any semblance of justice will be afforded to their survivors. It is important to recognize that the process of seeking justice will continue long after the initial shock and tear gas have faded. Wrongful death lawsuits are likely to be filed in the cases listed below, the disposition of which may happen years from now. (The only exception may be Darius Colegarrit, who police claim aimed a gun at them.) Beer Summit Agreement: Racial Profiling OK

The Beer Summit happened in 2009, and attendees' point of AGREEMENT apparently did not favor black people. African Americans scream for federal investigations after police murders like children telling a teacher on a bully who was actually sent BY the teacher to attack them. Teachers would be fired if they actually did corporal punishment themselves, so some allow classroom bullies to bite, pinch, or hit children they want to suffer. 

I feel strongly that the feds are not the remedy to police violence against African Americans. Check out this sequence in six(6) steps:
1) Memphis Shelby County Jail was investigated by the feds, found guilty of civil rights violations, and placed under federal overview by the USDOJ in 2000.

2) Larry Neal was secretly arrested (kidnapped) and murdered in Shelby County Jail in 2003.

3) The Cochran Firm was sent to represent the Neal family, but it is a CoIntelPro operation now. The managing partner was chairman of the Shelby County Commission. The Cochran Firm kept the Neals believing they had a lawsuit going against the jail while the statute of limitations passed, when nothing was actually being done - a huge fraud.

4. Neither the USDOJ nor the murderous jail will release any records or information about Larry Neal's murder in that facility. We have been asking, including serving FIOA requests and federal subpoenas for ELEVEN YEARS. They obviously AGREED that black people deserve kidnapping and death, especially black people who are not useful to the empire. Larry was mentally and physically disabled.

5. I have been persecuted and censored throughout the eleven years to prevent widespread knowledge that the feds are in complete accord with police murders. If a police department or jail is investigated by the feds and if the feds find a pattern of abuse, and if the feds take over the operation, they only HIDE THE MURDERS BETTER.

6. Judges in both Georgia Sup. Ct. and USDC dismissed our lawsuit against The Cochran Firm, claiming respectively that (a) there is no Cochran Firm office in Georgia, and (b) whatever The Cochran Firm did to protect Memphis police and the jail was "immaterial." Police murders are protected by the feds, CoIntelpro law firms, and corrupt courts as well as sold-out media companies. THEY ALL HATE BLACK PEOPLE TOGETHER. Now watch out for a possible Ebola conspiracy, and reject vaccines.

Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) re Police Violence

Below is a letter I wrote to Dr. Randolph Dupont regarding Memphis crisis intervention training (CIT) in March 2008. It was never answered. On Tuesday, April 29, 2014, the U.S. Senate Judiciary Subcommittee will hold hearings about CIT in Washington, D.C. Unless and until accountability is demanded of police officers who injure and kill citizens who posed no danger to police officers or others, CIT training will not guarantee any Change in the number of mental patients who suffer injuries and deaths by police. The mentally ill comprise over 50 percent of the victims of police-related violence in this country, and most people who were injured or killed did not pose an immediate danger to anyone. Crisis intervention training is far from being a panacea to the problem of police violence against the mentally ill. In my experience, the mentally ill citizens' abuses and deaths that occur after police are taken through crisis intervention training may actually be covered-up to prevent embarrassment to the government.

I urge the Senate Judiciary Committee to do more than institute crisis intervention training. Whereas police officers who killed Kelly Thomas may not have received crisis intervention training, they certainly knew it was illegal to beat an unarmed, surrendered subject to death. Whereas police officers who fired 40 bullets into Milton Hall in Saginaw, Michigan may not have had crisis intervention training, they certainly knew it was not lawful to do capital punishment by firing squad on a man with a little pocket knife who had done no crime (Hall had reportedly argued with a store clerk, which was worthy of a "disturbing the peace" misdemeanor charge at the most). The police officers involved in these two incidents completely ignored the police training they had already received. Their crisis intervention training is likely to also be ignored in a system where police officers are allowed to ignore the human and civil rights of citizens without any fear of reprisal. Because Thomas was white, police officers were charged with murder, and some were fired.

Police officers involved in violent incidents should immediately be tested for drug and alcohol use, including steroids. In cases where arrested persons are shot to death in police cars, all parties - the victims and police officers alike - should also be tested at the scene for gunpowder residue. Investigations indicating that victims suffered wrongful deaths or police brutality should result in termination of police officers and criminal charges. The present climate of "anything goes" regarding police violence endangers the peace for all Americans. Sloppy investigations that omit gunpowder residue tests and police cameras that mysteriously quit working at critical moments could lead to social unrest (i.e., Chavis Carter's "suicide" while handcuffed and sitting in the back of an Arkansas police car after having been searched twice).

If police officers are trained in crisis intervention and choose to obey their training, what will that accomplish other than safe captures of mentally ill Americans to join the 1.25 million prisoners in this country who are mentally ill? I urge the passage of H.R.3717 - Helping Families in Mental Health Crisis Act, which would improve mental heath treatment in America and reduce the crisis incidents prompting police intervention.

The Senate Judiciary Subcommittee should do more to reduce police violence against our mentally ill and other vulnerable people than recommend funding of CIT. When police departments complete CIT training and the excuse of "untrained police officers" is eliminated regarding deaths of mentally ill people, will the justice system do more cover-ups like when Larry Neal, a lifelong mentally, physically handicapped Memphis man, was murdered after 18 days of secret arrest in Memphis, the birthplace of CIT? Will it then be necessary to interfere with survivors' Internet and phone usage, employ unscrupulous lawyers to defraud grieving families, and appoint agents to follow and terrorize them to prevent discovery?

I have read with interest how police departments all over the country are modeling their police departments after the Memphis CIT model. I suppose it may be partly to protect this image that my family is the only American family in the 21st Century to have a member secretly arrested and returned to his family as a corpse with no explanation, apology, excuse, arrest records, inquest, or investigation. At least, I certainly hope this is an uncommon tragedy and denial of due process of law.

The Memphis CIT has never explained how Larry Neal, a life-long mentally ill heart patient, could be secretly arrested in mid-July 2003, incarcerated for 18 days while his family and social worker looked for him as a missing person while Shelby County Jail repeatedly and falsely denied having him incarcerated, until he died of a fatal heart attack.

The Memphis CIT has never explained why The (Johnny) Cochran Firm, which was managed by Julian Bolton, Esq., 20+year Shelby County Commissioner and past Chairman, would then contract with my family to act as our wrongful death attorneys against Shelby County Jail, withholding from my family information about Bolton's position with our intended defendant, the jail where Larry died.

The Memphis CIT has never explained why Shelby County Jail neglected to send the Department of Justice an inmate fatality report regarding Larry Neal's death, when the jail was already under suit by the USA for previous violations of inmates' civil rights, and was required to send such inmate fatality reports under the terms of its Agreement with the USA.

Larry's family believes that his death was actually a euthanasia followed by an elaborate cover-up between The Cochran Firm and others to keep his wrongful death case out of court. Interested parties have also managed to keep his death and his family's quest for justice out of mainstream media, which likely would have led to investigation and closure for his family.

For years, I have written to:

• Shelby County Government officials,
• the U.S. Justice Department,
• Tennessee representatives, including the governor,
• United States Senators and Congressmen,
• mental health organizations,
• civil rights organizations,
• and civic leaders about Larry's death and the denial of any investigation and accountability.

No one has come forward with any investigation or reports to date -- over four years after Larry's death. At this point, the shroud of secrecy seems impenetrable to the point that Larry's family would be skeptical of any reports that ensued from an investigation. [We are now approaching the eleventh year anniversary, and answers are still denied.]

We have sued The Cochran Firm twice to recover damages for tricking my family while under contract as Larry's wrongful death attorneys (secret conflict of interest, fraud, malpractice), and we are hopeful of getting answers during discovery of our present suit in USDC, Northern District of Gerogia. On our first attempt to sue The Cochran Firm, we served the suit to the firm's advertised Atlanta office, the law office that conducted our initial client intake interview the day Larry died. Strangely, this law office which was widely advertised as The Cochran Firm's Atlanta office on television, MARTA, Internet, Bell phone books, etc., had our suit dismissed in May 2006 by claiming it is no part of The Cochran Firm. Larry's family certainly hopes that nothing so fantastic will happen in our pending USDC case against this law firm. [United States District Court Judge Timothy Batten ruled in January 2009 that whatever The Cochran Firm did to undermine justice regarding the secret arrest and wrongful death of Larry Neal was "immaterial," and he dismissed the case without trial.]

CIT is a good idea, and I hope it benefits mentally ill citizens in the Memphis area and around the country. However, when there is a failure in the system, as evidenced by Larry Neal's secret incarceration and wrongful death, that failure should not be covered up at the expense of justice.

The (Johnnie) Cochran Firm frauds say:

Would LYING to potential clients and claiming falsely to have conducted a conflict check regarding a wrongful death civil action in order to defraud the potential client qualify, you Cochran Firm Fraud lawyers? Would a law firm LYING and claiming falsely NOT to have a conflict of interest in representing a grieving family against Memphis Shelby County Jail qualify as "business and consumer fraud," you white supremacists? Larry Neal was kidnapped by police and held under secret arrest for 18 days until his murder by yet undisclosed means. Would the fact that The Cochran Firm held the Neal family's lawsuits secretly inactive until the end of the Tennessee statute of limitations qualify as "business and consumer fraud," you black Confederate soldiers?

Part of the purchase price will help finance advocacy to decriminalize mental illness in the United States and stop police violence and executions of our most vulnerable citizens.
