Getting Away With Murder through Censorship

I.
INVITATION: Discuss Book-Banning to Hide Oppression: Friday, January 8, 2016, 9pmEST, please join George Mallinckrodt and Mary Neal in discussions about the Florida Department of Corrections' ban on Mallinckrodt's book, "Getting Away with Murder." The book regards the scalding torture and murder of Darren Rainey, a mentally ill, black, middle age inmate who was brutally scalded to death by guards in Dade Correctional Institution in 2012, whose murder is yet unrequited. Call our FreeConferenceCall number (605)562-0020, code: 992-212-650. Let us discuss violations against Americans' rights under the First Amendment and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, #government cover-ups, #prisoner torture, and the USDOJ's failures to uphold the Civil Rights of Institutionalized Persons Act (CRIPA) of 1980. That is a U.S. federal law intended to protect the rights of people in state or local correctional facilities, nursing homes, mental health facilities and institutions for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
II.
‪#‎Prison‬ investors fear and resent movies like the one in production now by Dr. Stephen B Seager, "Shattered Families." They feel threatened by books like "Getting Away with Murder," investigative journalism reports about gross mistreatment of mentally ill prisoners like the Miami Herald published about Darren Rainey and other disabled Americans. Oppressors hate continual reports about individuals and families being negatively impacted by the prison industrial complex and overuse of police force, like those published by MaryLovesJustice in "Human Rights for Prisoners March" blog and "Dog Justice for Mentally Ill" blog http://DogJusticeforMentallyIll.blogspot.com . But does the fact that government officials hate our books, news reports, and radio broadcasts give them the right to issue bans that deprive Americans of information that is intended to motivate this country be true to its laws, creeds, and ideals?
III.
CRIPA is great legislation, but the duty to protect the rights of institutionalized people in the USA is ignored by local and federal officials as prisoners are continually abused and killed in custody. Other examples of wrongful deaths in custody include my brother Larry Neal, Daniel Linsinbigler, Freddie Gray, Sandra Bland, Sgt. James Brown, Eileen DiNino, Circle Bear, and many others - people who were blacks, whites, and Native Americans, able-bodied or disabled. Efforts to expose denials of due process of law are regularly #censored. Many writers and advocates are persecuted just as Mallinckrodt was when his position as a psychotherapist for Corizon Correctional Healthcare ended presumably because he complained about prisoner abuse. Call Friday night, January 8, 2015, and let us discuss these issues. The broadcast will be uploaded to Human Rights Demand channel at Blogtalkradio. Join us, please, and HAVE YOUR SAY!
IV.
Authorities had no right to ban "Getting Away with Murder." Corrections officers had no right to scald Darren Rainey to death. Neither should mentally ill inmates be made to fight other inmates - sometimes to the death - to entertain guards: human dog fights. People like Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. suffered and some died for protections offered under each of the laws listed below. Many active duty #military people as well as #veterans still pay dearly for our rights that are not being upheld by either federal or local governing authorities. Let us fight to keep them on the books and make the laws actualities. The cornerstone of all rights Americans have is the First Amendment. Use your First Amendment rights on January 8 to take a stand for freedom of press and CRIPA. "All we ask of America is 'Be true to what you said on paper.'" (MLK).
V.
WE WILL NOT BE SILENT SO THAT HYPOCRITES IN GOVERNMENT CAN BE COMFORTABLE OPPRESSING, TORTURING, AND KILLING OUR FELLOW AMERICANS, ESPECIALLY NOT OUR ELDERS, CHILDREN, AND DISABLED PEOPLE.

Censorship Quotes, collected by Mary Neal
One of my ministers, Rev. Floyd Harris, Jr., is being prosecuted for initiating a "Black Lives Matter" march during summer 2015. His trial date is to be January 6 in Fresno, California. Freedom of expression is challenged throughout America regarding human rights. Telephone calls to me have been censored at (678)531-0262, but I recently switched to AT&T, the phone company that I am told the FBI uses. Let's see if that helps.

Let us strive to be who we say we are - One nation under God with liberty and justice for ALL. America has never been that, but it is a worthy goal. George Mallinckrodt and Mary Neal look forward to your opinions re Florida banning "Getting Away with Murder." Please call.

This article has five(5) paragraphs with Roman numerals before the MLK photo. It also has twelve(12) links, and two(2) photographs (count them to keep hackers honest, as if such a thing is possible). Congratulations to Edward Snowden for revealing the oppression under which many Americans labor.

Getting Away with Murder, by George Mallinckrodt

George Mallinckrodt is a psychotherapist who formerly worked in Florida prisons counseling mentally ill inmates. He observed an alarming pattern of abuse by corrections officers and complained. He was then fired.

Months later, Mallinckrodt learned about the death by scalding of Darren Rainey, a 50-year-old black mentally ill inmate who guards scalded to death in a small shower. Rainey was tortured under a strong spray of 180°F water (water boils at 212°F). Rainey's skin had to be scraped from the shower after his body was removed. No charges were filed after Rainey's homicide, and no autopsy report was released to date.

Disgusted by the lack of accountability. Mallinckrodt published a book about abused mentally ill inmates, murderous corrections officers, and the Florida Department of Corrections called "Getting Away with Murder."

Mallinckrodt advocates on behalf of the mentally ill. He recently met with with Senator Greg Evers, the Chairman of the Criminal Justice Committee, and staffers.

"The Florida Department of Corrections is riddled with amoral, sadistic sociopaths and the people who support, enable, and cover-up their crimes." ~ @GeoMallinckrodt (Twitter)

"If what is done to mentally ill Florida inmates was done in the military, these would be considered war crimes." ~George Mallinckrodt

Excerpt from a book review by Amy M., August 17, 2014:

A shocking and darkly humorous account of working with mentally ill inmates in Florida's Dade Correctional Institution. George Mallinckrodt writes a gritty, mesmerizing account of his three years as psychotherapist in the "Transitional Care Unit" of the Dade Correctional Institution in South Florida, where inmates with mental health problems, including the most severe mental illnesses, are housed.

Mallinckrodt agreed to be our guest on "Human Rights Demand."
